Is there a flag to tell pdns the only has access to a read-only db

Description

Found the answer on IRC #powerdns

<melwyn>what mode of operation are you using or is the best way to go? native replication (mysql-replication) looks like the easiest mode of operation. so i can basically have 3 identical pdns-servers, 1 with r/w-access to the db and the other two as r/o access to the replicated db? the master/slave principle doesn't apply here. sorry for these basic questions, the documentation is very extensive but i wasn't sure which operation-mode is recom
<melwyn>is there a flag to tell pdns he only has access to a read-only db and is not used for administration? so pdns is not trying to do the rollover (dnssec) etc.
<melwyn>or is the "slave" parameter used for this in native mode? i think that is the last question to get me started. thanks!
<Habbie>the weekly dnssec signature refresh does not write to the database
<Habbie>'slave' expects a writable database
<Habbie>to avoid writes, use master=no slave=no
<Habbie>and don't do writes via the API
<Habbie>then pdns should be fine with a readonly database
<melwyn>ohh i see. that makes sense. Chers Habbie!
